There are still several larger ToDos on our list until the system can be used on the next gig:

i.MX253 main-processor / UI

  • Individual pages have to be filled with content using our own C++ class-based UI-framework
  • Implement page for MP3-player
  • Finish implementation of barebox as a successor of U-Boot which stopped supporting the i.MX253

FPGA (Lattice or Xilinx)

  • AES50: reverse-engineer communication via last TDM-channel (Work already in progress)
  • AES50: Optimize timings and reduce logic-demand to allow second AES50 port

Analog Devices SHARC DSPs

  • DSP1: Optimize general performance to allow 16 (instead of current 8) Mixbusses
  • DSP1: Implement Monitoring
  • DSP1: debug and fix channel-compressor
  • DSP2: Optimize dynamic loading of effects (currently FX-loading can crash DSP)
  • DSP2: implement and test SPDIF receiver and transmitter for i.MX253
  • DSP2: implement and test AES/EBU output
  • DSP2: debug DynamicEQ
  • DSP2: debug MultibandCompressor
